Just a week after signing to star in an action flick with a humorous bent titled The Revenger, Liam Neeson (Taken) has signed on for yet another motion picture, this time a thriller.
StudioCanal and The Picture Company, Deadline reports, have tapped Neeson as the lead in their suspense thriller The Commuter, which will focus on Neeson's character, a businessman commuting home from work who will unwittingly becomes involved in a criminal conspiracy.
Of course, his involvement will put not only his life but those around him in a heap of danger.
That's territory with which Neeson has become very familiar, as he's successfully reinvented himself as an action hero of late, not only with the Taken film series, but with other movies such as Non-Stop and Run All Night.
Taken is also being reinvented with a prequel series for television on NBC. Neeson will not star.
If you want to see what all the Liam Neeson fuss is about, you can watch Non-Stop online right now. Why not? It's worth the effort!
