Robert Loggia Dies: Oscar-Nominated Actor was 85

Robert Loggia, an Oscar nominated actor with a long history in both films and television, has died at the age of 85.

Perhaps best known today for his roles as Miami drug kingpin Frank Lopez in Scarface and as General William Grey from Independence Day, Loggia was nominated for an Academy Award in 1986 for his role in Jagged Edge.

Loggia also had a role in The Sopranos as Feech La Manna.

Loggia had been battling Alzheimer's for the past five years, according to his wife, of 33 years, Audrey.
