Sharpay Evans (Ashley Tisdale) is the center of attention in the dream-sequence number I Want It All, which took three days to shoot for High School Musical 3: Senior Year.
She rules the hallways of East High's theatre department, having starred in a total of 17 school productions. Yes, 17! Back when High School Musical began, Sharpay and newcomer Gabriella Montez didn't get along so well because the latter and basketball star Troy Bolton took the lead roles from her and her twin brother Ryan Evans in the winter musicale.
Sharpay's attempt at revenge failed over the summer, as she was taught a valuable lesson in friendship. Since then, this character has remained spoiled, but is continuing to evolve into a kind-hearted person.
Gabriella Montez: But you're messing with my friends, my summer, and that's not okay with me. Sharpay Evans: You don't like the fact that I won. Gabriella Montez: What's the prize? Troy? The star dazzle award? You have to go through all of this just to get either one? No thanks, Sharpay, you're very good at a game that I don't wanna play! So, I'm done here. But you better step away from the mirror long enough to check the damage that will always be right behind you.
