Christopher Lee was born in Belgravia, England and started his acting career with a seven-year contract with Rank Organisation in 1946.
However, it was his roles in the Hammer films, beginning with The Curse of Frankenstein in 1957 that made him a well known star. He then had a successful career in horror films that includes Dracula, The Mummy, Dracula: Prince of Darkness, Rasputin: The Mad Monk, Dracula Has Risen from the Grave, Taste the Blood of Dracula, and Scars of Dracula.
Christopher Lee has had a bit of a revitlization to his career since his role as Saurman in the Lord of the Rings trilogy. Since then, Lee has played Count Dooku in Star Wars Episode II and III. He has also played Dr. Wilbur Wonka in the remake of Charlie and the Chocolate Factory.
