Jon Hamm is an American actor best known for his role as Don Draper in the AMC series Mad Men.  Hamm is from St. Louis, Missouri and moved to Los Angeles when he was 24 with his car and $150. After struggling for many years until he started getting small acting parts and guest roles in various television series.  

He finally made it big when he was cast as protagonist Don Draper in Mad Men. He has also starred in The Town alongside Ben Affleck.

Hamm has been in a long-term relationship with actress/screenwriter Jennifer Westfeldt.
