Mike Judge was born in Albuquerque, New Mexico and graduated with a degree in Physics from the University of California, San Diego in 1985. Judge's career as a director took off when his shorts, Office Space (also known as Milton) were picked up by Comedy Central in 1991. Soon his hit television show, Beavis and Butt-Head would be picked up and run from 1993 to 1997 on MTV. in 1997, Judge left MTV and created Fox's hit television show, King of the Hill, which has run from 1997 to the present.
On the big screen, Judge wrote and directed the big screen adaptation of Beavis and Butt-head Do America in 1996. His first live action movie was Office Space in 1999. Judge's second film was in 2006 with Idiocracy. Judge's next film, Extract, is beginning filming in 2008. Let's hope the studios give it more love than the straight to DVD, Idiocracy.
