Gabrilla Montez: How well do you know Troy Bolton?
Taylor: Troy? Well, I don't consider myself an expert on that particular sub-species. But, unless you know how to speak cheerleader, as in...
[walks up to a group of cheerleaders]
Taylor: "Ohmygosh, isn't Troy Bolton just the hottie superbum?"
[cheerleaders swoon over Troy]
Gabrilla Montez: [laughs] I guess I don't know how to speak cheerleader!
Taylor: Which is why we live in an alternate universe from Troy the basketball boy.
Basher Tarr: He's mad. It's madness.
Turk Malloy: Yeah, it's crazy. It's Italian television crazy, and, we're still one short.
Linus Caldwell: No no, but think about it. She can get near the egg, during daylight hours, with at least half the system down! Well that's a trifecta!
Basher Tarr: You might be right. Make the call.

W.W. Beauchamp: Who, uh, who'd you kill first?
Will Munny: Huh?
W.W. Beauchamp: When confronted by superior numbers, an experienced gunfighter will always fire on the best shot first.
Will Munny: Is that so?
W.W. Beauchamp: Yeah, Little Bill told me that. And you probably killed him first, didn't you?
Will Munny: I was lucky in the order, but I've always been lucky when it comes to killin' folks.
Miriam: [speaking of Christ] As though he were carrying that cross the pain of the world.
Miriam: So fearful.
Tirzah: And yet why is it... I'm not afraid anymore?
Esther: The shadow of a storm.
[they go inside a nearby cave; the sky goes dark outside]
Esther: A strange darkness, but still day.
[a violent storm begins]
Miriam: His life is over.
Tirzah: He's here. It's tearing... I feel the pain!
Miriam: I feel it too.
[They seem to faint]
Esther: [concerned] Miriam?
[Miriam presses Esther's hand]
Esther: I thought that... Miriam! Do you see your hand?
[They look; Tirzah sits up, healed]
Esther: Tirzah! Miriam!
[They touch each other's faces, feel their hands, embrace as they realize they've been healed]
An essential characteristic of the superhero mythology is, there's the superhero, and there's the alter ego. Batman is actually Bruce Wayne, Spider-Man is actually Peter Parker. When he wakes up in the morning, he's Peter Parker. He has to put on a costume to become Spider-Man. And it is in that characteristic that Superman stands alone. Superman did not become Superman, Superman was born Superman. When Superman wakes up in the morning, he's Superman. His alter ego is Clark Kent. His outfit with the big red "S", that's the blanket he was wrapped in as a baby when the Kents found him. Those are his clothes. What Kent wears, the glasses, the business suit, that's the costume. That's the costume Superman wears to blend in with us. Clark Kent is how Superman views us. And what are the characteristics of Clark Kent? He's weak, he's unsure of himself... he's a coward. Clark Kent is Superman's critique on the whole human race. Sort of like Beatrix Kiddo and Mrs. Tommy Plympton.Bill
Girl In Restaurant: So what, are you all like alternative now?
Bliss Cavendar: Alternative to what?
A man who was curious to know if a knife could penetrate his bullet-proof vest was killed yesterday by a stab wound to the chest. Witnesses say the man, Jeff Turner, 32, urged his brother, Scott Turner, 35, to stab him as hard as he could, believing the vest would stop the knife. It didn't.Jimbo
Morgan Philip: Remember not to put too much makeup or the boys may get the wrong idea. They are only after one thing.
Giselle: What's that?
Morgan Philip: I don't know. They won't tell me.
Prince Caspian: Minotaurs? They're real?
Nikabrik: Not to mention big, huge.
