Hermione: Look. Hagrid's our friend, why don't we just go and ask him about it?
Ron: Oh, that'd be a cheerful visit. "Ello Hagrid! Tell us, have you been setting anything mad and hairy loose in the castle lately?"
[Hagrid has walked up behind them]
Hagrid: Mad and hairy? Yer wouldn't be talkin' about me, now would ya?
Ron, Hermione, Harry: No.

I have reflected on this case at great lengths, ladies and gentlemen. Now I understand the prosecutors have suspicions. Perhaps Mr. Sabich was there that night. They might be entitled to that inference. And before yesterday, I might have even said that there were reasonable grounds for those suspicions. Now, I'm not so sure. After yesterday, there is no proof of motive here. There is no evidence that there ever was an intimate relationship between the defendant and Ms. Polhemus. There is no proof so far as I am concerned to give a reasonable person grounds to believe that they had carnal relations on the night of her death. In point of fact, there's not one shred of direct proof that Mr. Sabich murdered Ms. Polhemus. So under these circumstances, I cannot allow this trial to continue. Mr. Sabich, you are discharged, sir. And I cannot begin to tell you how sorry I am that any of this has taken place. Not even the pleasure of seeing you free can make up for this... this disgrace to the cause of justice. I wish you Godspeed. Case dismissed.Judge Larren Lyttle

Sheba Hart: I hadn't been pursued like this for years... I knew it was wrong, and immoral, and completely ridiculous, but, I don't know. I just allowed it to happen.
Barbara Covett: The boy is fifteen!
Sheba Hart: But he's quite mature for his age!
Sally Albright: Most women at one time or another have faked it.
Harry Burns: Well, they haven't faked it with me.
Sally Albright: How do you know?
Harry Burns: Because I know.
Sally Albright: Oh. Right. Thats right. I forgot. Youre a man.
Harry Burns: What was that supposed to mean?
Sally Albright: Nothing. Its just that all men are sure it never happened to them, and all women at one time or other have done it, so you do the math.
President James Marshall: Kathryn, if you give a mouse a cookie...
Vice President Kathryn Bennett: It's gonna want a glass of milk.
Wanda: I want you to know something Otto.
Wanda: Even if you were my brother I'd still want to fuck you.
