Dick Stensland: I got a hot date.
Bud White: Yeah? Who is she and what did you arrest her for?

Captain Dudley Smith: You'll do as I say, and ask no questions. Do you follow my drift?
Bud White: In technicolor, sir.

Excuse me, ma'am. Just the facts.

Brett Chase

Dick Stensland: We'll do the town one night on me.
Bud White: I'll bring my wallet just in case.

Wendell, I'd like full and docile co-operation on every topic.

Captain Dudley Smith

I wouldn't trade places with Edmund Exley right now for all the whisky in Ireland.

Captain Dudley Smith

Oh, lookee here, the great jerkoff case of 1953.

Jack Vincennes

I admire you as a policeman, particularly your adherence to violence as a necessary adjunct to the job.

Captain Dudley Smith

So in the end, was it worth it? Jesus Christ. How irreparably changed my life has become. It's always the last day of summer and I've been left out in the cold with no door to get back in. I'll grant you I've had more than my share of poignant moments. Life passes most people by while they're making grand plans for it. Throughout my lifetime, I've left pieces of my heart here and there. And now, there's almost not enough to stay alive. But I force a smile, knowing that my ambition far exceeded my talent. There are no more white horses or pretty ladies at my door.

George

That's a nice boy. Go get 'em, Dulli.

George

Fred Jung: That was a beautiful message.
George: I meant every word of it.

I thought you couldn't live without your heart.
