Here are the 17 blockbuster summer movies of 2015. We've got superheroes, dinosaurs, aliens, spies, cyborgs and even male strippers!

1. Avengers: Age of Ultron - 5/1

Avengers: Age of Ultron - 5/1
There are two movies this year that could not be more highly anticipated by audiences worldwide. The first, is Marvel's Avengers: Age of Ultron which reunites Earth's mightiest heroes. This time around, they battle Tony Stark's sinister creation; Ultron. The artificial intelligence was designed to protect man, but ultimately decides the best course of action is to destroy us and start over. The other movie takes place in a galaxy far, far away (but that's a different slide show).

2. Tomorrowland - 5/22

Tomorrowland - 5/22
Tomorrowland stars George Clooney, Britt Robertson and Hugh Laurie. It takes place in a futuristic world founded by some of the brightest minds of our time. A teenager catches a glimpse of Tomorrowland, thanks to a magic pin, and sets out to learn more about the mysterious place and hang out there in person. Disney, Brad Bird and Clooney are a winning combo!

3. Mad Max: Fury Road - 5/15

Mad Max: Fury Road - 5/15
It's been thirty six years since the original Mad Max starring Mel Gibson. Its box office success spawned two sequels. Years later, Tom Hardy is taking on the role of Max in Fury Road, which feels like a mashup between Beyond Thunderdome and The Fast and the Furious. All the ingredients of a summer blockbuster are present, including a solid actor, lots of explosions and non-stop action.

4. Poltergeist - 5/22

Poltergeist - 5/22
In a summer loaded with reboots, 1982's Poltergeist is one cult classic that's never been revisited until now. Steven Spielberg and Frank Marshall were responsible for the original. However, this time around Roy Lee (The Ring, The Grudge), Sam Raimi (Evil Dead, Darkman) and Robert G. Tapert (30 Days of Night, The Possession) are producing. Those credits are reason enough to expect this version to surpass the original as far as creepiness and scares.

5. San Andreas - 5/29

San Andreas - 5/29
The Rock may have stumbled with last years Hercules, but throw him in the middle of a California earthquake and you're pretty much guaranteed an epic disaster film. San Andreas also stars Carla Gugino and Colton Haynes. We haven't had a natural disaster movie in a while, this one should certainly make up for that.

6. Entourage - 6/5

Entourage - 6/5
The boys are back in town! Hey, the first Sex and the City movie did really well, there's no reason Entourage can't duplicate that success. Get ready for more Hollywood hijinks, only this time Ari is a studio exec and Vinnie is his star. Think everything goes smoothly? Well, think again my friends. Either way, seeing our favorite characters on the big screen should be a total blast.
