Who will be nominated for Best Actress when the Academy announces its nominations on January 15.

It may have been a "weaker" year for women in Hollywood, but that doesn't mean that it's easy to narrow this field to five nominees.

Some of the biggest names in the business are up for the award this year, including Jennifer Aniston!

So, who takes the Cake... to borrow from Aniston's movie title.

Click through and witness our predictions for Best Actress at the 2015 Academy Awards.

1. Rosamund Pike, Gone Girl

Rosamund Pike, Gone Girl
What Rosamund Pike did in Gone Girl is nothing short of a miracle. No spoilers here, but there are only a handful of actresses who could have achieved that character arc. Look for Pike to be rewarded with her first Academy Award nomination.

2. Reese Witherspoon, Wild

Reese Witherspoon, Wild
Reese Witherspoon is a lock to get a nomination for her turn as a woman who heads out on a thousands of miles walk to find herself. The true story rivets, and her performance truly makes the movie.

3. Julianne Moore, Still Alice

Julianne Moore, Still Alice
Julianne Moore has been overlooked way too many times for an Oscar. This is her year. Her turn in Still Alice is a haunting portrayal of a woman slowly losing her memory. We think she might just win.

4. Felicity Jones, The Theory of Everything

Felicity Jones, The Theory of Everything
What Eddie Redmayne did playing Stephen Hawking in The Theory of Everything is a gift to humankind. And it didn't just arise out of a vacuum. It was largely aided by his onscreen volley partner, Felicity Jones, and her turn as Hawking's wife Jane. Look for her to get an Oscar nod for the movie, just like Redmayne will.

5. Jennifer Aniston, Cake

Jennifer Aniston, Cake
Jennifer Aniston shows us a side of her never before seen in Cake. She plays a woman who is dealing with a life of pain, and it is forcing her to live a life that features more solitude than support. Watching Aniston alienate everyone she knows is a study in passion and it will be rewarded with her first Oscar nod.
