Maggie Smith

Maggie Smith is a British actress who has leant her talents to many films throughout her long career.  She has won many awards for her work, including five BAFTA Awards, two Academy Awards, two Emmy Awards, two Golden Globe Awards, two SAG Awards, and one Tony Award.  She has been involved in many Shakespearian plays, including Othello.  She has also appeared in films such as California Suite (1978) and Gosford Park (2001).  Perhaps she is most well-known presently for her role as Professor Minerva McGonagall in the Harry Potter Series.
