Tim Allen

Tim Allen was born in Denver, and raised in Birmingham, Michigan.   Allen was a stand-up comic who became famous as an actor with his popular television show, Home Improvement, which ran from 1991-1999.  With his new-found popularity, Allen began starring in numerous movies, but mostly family ones.  His most notable roles were starring in the The Santa Clause movies and doing the voice of Buzz Lightyear in the Toy Story movie.  Allen has also starred in Galaxy Quest, Big Trouble, and Wild Hogs.

Crazy Tim Allen fact?  He was in jail for 28 months for possession of 1.4 poinds of cocaine.  Not a bad sentence when he was potentially going to serve life in jail.   Now, of course, he mostly does family movies.
