It's no secret I'm a fan of Colin Farrell. 

His best work is done when he has a chance to be both dramatic and comedic in nature, and perhaps a bit quirky. Doesn't that seem like the essence of The Lobster in the...shell? 

In the near future, according to the rules of the City, all single people must visit the Hotel where they must find a mate within 45 days or else become an animal. Literally. They're then sent off into the woods to live out there days, although by the trailer, it appears it doesn't always work out that way.

Apparently, Farrell's character will escape his fate into the Woods and fall in love with a Loner. 

There is no US release date that I can find, but it's hitting theaters in Europe mid October. You lucky bastards!
